Rosalie Hamilton

Editor, Chief Executive Officer

Rosalie created Carnelian Editorial to combine her passion for language and love of cultivating the imagination. Fantasy is often left out of literary conversations, but Rosalie believes all stories deserve equal dedication to reach their full potential. With an MA in Creative Writing and extensive experience in English Education, she is passionate about the accessibility of language and storytelling to all communities. Additionally, her time as an editorial assistant for the Journal of International Women’s Studies has opened a special interest in stories that demonstrate authentic experiences of women and children.

Outside of academia, Rosalie spends her time reading fantasy and romance novels, and was once an overly-active victim of Instagram’s original bout of fandom pages. Her favorite books are Saving June by Hannah Harrington and Butcher and Blackbird by Brynne Weaver.
